The NR1501 has on-board decoders for both standard and high definition audio such as DTS-HD and TrueHD, it also effortlessly converts analogue video signals to HDMI. Its four HDMI 1.3a inputs handle a host of digital sources, so you can easily hook-up your satellite box, BD/DVD player, game console and camcorder all at the same time. And there is just one HDMI cable connected to your screen. What’s more, you don’t need to spend time selecting the correct input on your TV - the NR1501 does it all for you. Fans of portable media players like iPods will love the front audio input for easy connection. The loudspeaker set-up can be as simple as a stereo system or (when front speakers are not powerful enough) a 2.1 with additional subwoofer for the bass and special effects.
