AV8003 Multichannel AV Pre-Amplifier

This THX Ultra2-certified networking pre-amp/processor will maximise your source signals with absolute clarity and transparency. Whatever the source – Blu-ray, DVD, CD and even the AV files from your PC and external storage streamed via the network. That’s because it is DLNA-certified. It decodes every format up to THX-EX, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby True HD and of course it supports Deep Color and 24fps via four HDMI 1.3a inputs and two outputs. Legacy designs get the HD treatment too, via video processing technology VRS from Anchor Bay with scaling up to 1080p. For total connectivity and flexibility, the AV8003 features eight balanced outputs for ultra-low noise connection to the power amp, and two balanced inputs to connect a high-end CD source. The power supply incorporates a Toroidal transformer and copper-plated chassis to minimise interference. For total control, the system comes with a programmable, backlit LCD remote controller, as well as an additional handset supporting multiroom capability.

  • De Marantz AV8003/MM8003 wint de Digital Movie Award voor High-End Home Cinema Component van het Jaar Elk jaar komen er meer stemmen binnen! Amersfoort, vrijdag 28 november 2008. Zoals elk jaar heeft het tijdschrift Digital Movie ook dit najaar weer de Digital Movie Awards uitgereikt. De Awards zijn inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een waar keurmerk in consumentenelektronica en worden uitgereikt aan de meest innovatieve en kwalitatief goede producten in 20 verschillende categorieën. Dit jaar zijn er maar liefst 4607 stemmen binnengekomen. Daaruit is gebleken dat de Marantz AV8003/MM8003, met een meerderheid van de stemmen, de Digital Movie Award voor High-End Home Cinema Component van het Jaar heeft gewonnen. Omdat de voorversterker van deze compromisloos uitgevoerde combinatie alles uit de moderne formaten voor het bioscoopgeluid weet te halen en de eindversterker de daaruit voortkomende acht kanalen vlekkeloos bij de luidsprekers aflevert, hebben de lezers en de redactie van Digital Movie besloten om de Digital Movie Award voor de High-End Home Cinema Component van het Jaar 2008-2009 toe te kennen aan de Marantz AV8003/MM8003.
